The Inspiration Behind Nomadog
Our journey began in the vibrant city of Barcelona, where functional design meets premium quality. Nomadog was born from a simple yet profound idea: combining our love for adventure with our devotion to our four-legged companions. The name "Nomadog" reflects this perfectly—it’s a blend of "nomad" and "dog," symbolizing travel, exploration, and the joy of being on the move with your canine friend.
Our story took shape with our own Border Collie, Gandhi, who shares our zest for life and exploration. Whether we’re swimming, hiking, trail running, ski touring, or mountain biking, Gandhi is always by our side, pushing the limits of what’s possible.
The idea for Nomadog sparked during one of our many outdoor adventures with Gandhi. After a fun day of swimming in the ocean, we noticed that the metal parts of his harness had started to oxidize. This was frustrating and disappointing—especially for active dogs who love water as much as Gandhi does. That moment was a turning point for us. We realized we could do better, and that’s when we, Gabriela and Daniel, decided to start our own line of dog products that would be as durable and adventurous as the dogs who wear them.
Nomadog is a reflection of our active lifestyle—a blend of functionality, durability, and boho chic style that not only stands up to outdoor adventures but also looks great in an urban environment. Our gear is designed to be suitable for everyday urban outings as well as off-road adventures, ensuring that no matter where life takes you and your dog, you’ll be well-equipped.

While we started with harnesses, leashes, and collars, we’re not stopping there. We’re working hard to expand our product line with new offerings that meet the needs of adventurous dogs and their owners. Exciting products like dog supplements, special crash-tested harnesses for cars, dog bowls, protective blanket covers for the car, and many more are in the works.
